I hope everyone had a very merry, merry christmas. I have been back in mn for a few days and am having a blast. Though I had been prepared to stay in washington for the holidays, I can’t tell you how grateful I now am that it worked out for me to come home.
Thursday night was a rambuncous evening of family game night. Lots of cheese, wine and competitive spirit. In other words, my perfect evening. It was also Bethany and Jake’s last night with us before heading off to their new life in Arizona. It was SO good to spend time with them and I can’t wait to hear all about their adventures in the desert!
Christmas eve and day were filled with many family members, way too much food and more fun games. An overall success in my book.
And now, my week will be spent having lunch dates and happy hours with all the people I miss so much.
