happy birthday to me.
I know that Christmas isn’t even here yet, but I can’t help but start to think about my birthday. Usually when it’s less than 2 months away – my mind starts wandering to the presents or the party.
Now, usually, I don’t really need to mention this aloud to anyone because my wishlist can wait until after the holidays. This year, however, I feel it’s necessary to make it clear asap about what I’d...
ohh, my boyfriend.
A text I just recieved from Adam:
It’s Beethoven’s birthday honey. Listen to some concertos or sonatas please.
So, for Adam, happy birthday Ludwig! This is the sonata I am choosing to listen to today.
that 2:30 feeling.
Lately, my days have been long and tiring. And I blame my dad.
I’m working in corporate America, sitting in front of a computer, trapped in a cubicle and the one thing that could bring a little excitement and joy into my day – I don’t enjoy. That thing is coffee. All I want is a nice, warm, tasty cup o’ caffeine, and you’d think I’d be really lucky because just a few doors down the hall there is...

heaven in a glass.
Half zing zang, half major peters the works, tons of horseradish, tabasco sauce, pepper, worcestershire, pepperjack filled beef stick, pickle, blue cheese stuffed olives, cheese cubes, red bell peppers, lowry’s seasoned salt and of course, vodka.
I don’t think there was a better way to spend our snow day.
snowmageddon.
Maybe you’ve heard, but mn experienced a blizzard this weekend that was seriously unreal.
A little background…there was once another blizzard of this caliber that we minnesotans lovingly refer to as ‘the blizzard of halloween ‘91’. For people my age, this is one of our first very distinct childhood memories and is brought up more often than you’d think.
Well, this weekend’s blizzard will now...
you could call me excited.
One week until this girl…
and this girl…

our song.
You know when you and your friends or family have certain musicians and/or songs that become your thing? You don’t really talk about it - but they’re definitely yours? So much so, that they’d be jealous if you went to the concert with anyone except them…even though you’ve never acknowledged that they’re “your guys’s”?
Well I definitely do....
alriiiight, carlson cafeteria.
So, in case you weren’t aware…I am currently working for the largest corporate travel management company in the WORLD. I am not bragging (at all. seriously. my job is boring and easy and temporary.), I am just trying to convey how many people work for Carlson. The two massive towers in Minnetonka house the offices of thousands of people and there are even more employees across the...

vino, i love you so.
My week, thus far, has been filled with two things…work and wine. Though my days may be spent in front of a computer, entering data the nights totally make up for it.
Monday, Adam and I drove to Stillwater to pick up an awesome wine table/rack I bought off Craigslist then had dinner at Luna Rossa Wine Bar. Delicious mussels, stone fire pizza, creme brulee and Italian wine.
Last night, we...
winter wonderland.
My least favorite season has most definitely arrived in Minnesota. We easily got over 8 inches of snow last night and glancing out my kitchen window right now - I can see nothing but white powder. Seriously. Nothing.
Last night, as the snow was falling, I was working at Terra. The christmas lights were up, the food was delicious, the wine was pouring and it made for an unbelievably cozy, winter...
